ytd was choosing photos for doing childhood montage.
had a hard time selecting which to show during the wedding dinner.
if you dont see your face in the montage, it doesnt mean you are not special to me.
but rather i choose those which hold special memories instead.
we used to hope to grow up faster when we are young,
yet now that im alr 26 im missing for my childhood days. those were the real simple is happiness days.
browse through photos taken during my 2.5yrs of flying life.
its true that "when given the opportunity, grab it."
i did not regret flying for that short period.
im thankful i made real friends from it.
now thinking back, im kinda regretful i did not visit more places.

and for the first time, tried macaroons from Laduree!
sweet sweet times, this is 1 of my fave shot with Raju.
alr forgot how we suddenly click and went prawning follow by kapi sessions.

i remember she said i look snobbish in the lift heading up to the interview.
2 of us together with Kristine and Dorothy were in the same final interview.
and all 4 of us were picked to join the batch!
our friendship only picked up from Tokyo Training onwards.
i slept over in her room as her room is the outermost with a vacant room beside.
her family mailed her mooncakes and she shared with all of us!
me someone who doesnt eat mooncake even force a small mouthful down.

its Wed which means 2Ds to FRI!!
cant wait for the weekend to come so i can have ample rest.
no idea why i've been feeling lethargic lately.
have made appt to go down dye my hair on SAT!
color i have not decided yet, shall c the color samples by then.
and FRI night got movie date with the bf, THE DARK KNIGHT!
is that a continuation of the 1st movie??
thought of DIY-ing a floral wreathe for photoshoot,
but dont know where to start from. also not enough time liao?
went to trim my hair yesterday and the lady also told me e same stuff.

honestly, 17yrs into marriage i only browse through my album once.
and that was on the wedding night after the banquet."
sounds true? been more than 3 people telling me this..
i shall stay firm on my decision, 33 poses so be it!

Mon after work i met some of my ex-colleagues 4 dinner!
yurie-chan got sg flt so that day was her full free day in sg.
Mabelle met them early & bring them around SG for tour & food-sampling.
thats me & yurie-chan over here. :)

that day i passed Mabelle & Raju their bridesmaid dress.
here's the 3 of us coincidentally in polka dots!

ytd met Raju for lunch and damn we made the right choice!
paid Canele a visit since DBS Indulge app showed me the current promo -
$15 for 2 course meal, UP $19 siol!
you can choose either Starter or Dessert with Main course.
comes with free drink as well!
thats us with our starter - cream of mushroom 4 me;
signature caesar salad for raju & its damn nice i swear!!

since both of were craving for some sweet stuff,
we ended up with a box of macaroons each! ;x
she bought a box and shared w Cafren/Joy after meeting me.
for mine, was left in office to cure my sweet tooth.

Happy Birthday to both my parents yesterday!
hardly can find a partner with same birthday whom you'll spend the rest of your life with.
hope many many more birthdays to come for my parents!

Hello New Friend!

just last Sat i made a new friend.
have met her previously but never really hang out.
bumped in her at PS and we both exclaimed, "joey's friend?"
and we saw each other again e flea which i had with joey.
finally last Sat i decided to go ahead & meet Joey + her together!
met joey earlier for lunch & shortly after she joined us.
let me introduce, siqi!!
i shared a cuppa taimei w joey & then started shopping.
managed to find retro earrings for my jiemeis too!
came home with 2 new tops and im happy liao!
while they continue shopping, i ended earlier to meet the bf.

and before i know it, we're in the midst of planning...

i finally had the courage to finish 1 whole liu sha bao myself!
but, i'd much prefer those with thicker salted egg yolk taste.
this got a mild taste of custard which i still dont like.
my mom suggested going yum cha once every month! woohoo~
after lunch, we went over to OG find bedsheets.
got 1 that have 2 diff sets of color for pillow/bolster case.
and the quilt set is reversible with 2 colors too!
settled for red & black since wedding die die mux have red.
black also looks very 前卫 mah.. right?
since we're there, we bought face & bath towels too.
as for bedside lamp & tea set, im gonna get it during the Malacca trip.
got a friend informed, its sellin much cheaper over there!

一开始就有好多生日庆祝，
工作上也更新了很多新程序要学。
再加上有很多会议要参与。
现在谁都不能说我在办公室里是空闲的啦！
那天我们帮raju庆生!
好开心哦，因为已经好久都没见到大家聚在一起了！
当然她们都还在飞啦，只有我已经转行了。
这些是我们六个人吃的分量，不是很多吧？
那个truffle fries真是没话讲，好吃到。。！！！
不过价钱方面我个人是觉得有点贵，不过又不是时常吃所以还好。

真是没后悔买这些新的胶卷啊！

last Sun we combed so much places!
from his house we went to collect his property doc,
then to Tiong Bahru for his viewing,

did shopping from Taka-Ion-Paragon-Lucky Plaza-Wisma-Taka.
i think we kinda walked more than 10km just that day alone.
had Thomson ba chor mee b4 hm swt hm that day.
and i love e smell of my new bag! ♥
tried this bbt at Wisma too.
because their tea all comes with milk,
hence i asked 4 a recommendation from the cashier.
she intro me this Aloha Tea with 4 fruits!
i only remember there's kiwi, apple, pineapple..
there's this citrus fruity tea taste that quench your thirst.
and and there's Garrett popcorn!!

i tried it in NYC and now SG also have it.

Recent Days...

last Sun i made my last trip back to office.
i took a very last look in my mailbox.

goodbye to my so call two letter.

then we foursome head to dabao lunch before going down..

to baby dro's 1st birthday celebration at ACC!

they ordered some helium blew balloons;
joey&dickson blew somemore balloons 4 decor;
the rest of us paste the decor around the chalet.
all's done within an hour of hardwork.
had the buffet and stayed in "our" room to play Charadium.
was so addicted to the short thrill!
sang the bdae song; cut the cake & took photos.
heard that there's a BIG match Man U vs Liverpool.
hence decided to tag along & watch.

continued the night with watching streetside soccer!

drank beer & eat Doritos.
everything sum up to less than $10!
why would i wanna spend that same amount on valet?

then Mon i met Raju accompany her down Raffles Place.
she helped me get some med as i've run out.
hungry as we can be, we hopped into a random place.

ordered chix mushroom soup,
goes well with our nachos cheesy bun!

and even ordered these cheese sticks.
its totally filled with mozzarella cheese!
we requested to get it re-heated up to taste better!

come Tue i went down for the "interview".
wasted time waiting for the testor & other testee.

return of the old school 2B pencil & MCQs!
been long since i last did such shading on test paper.
lets see if i can pass the 1st round. :)

ytd i met joey at amk then train down Clarke Quay!

i went to get some sticky from The Central.
slowly walked down to Chinatown as it was raining.
been wet & cooling these few days, me like!

everywhere in Chinatown is filled with REDness!
there've got whole shop selling just CNY decors!
i mean, how are they gonna survive when CNY is over?
as its still pretty early, i decide to checkout a place..

i was shocked to see no Q outside lohx..
only to realised their famous bak gua r all soldout!
sold out as in sold out for the day! ;(
i went down too late already!
but still i bought an alt instead.
the gold coin bak gua better than nothing.

randomly walked around & bought a facial scrub.
there's actually a 女人我最大 专卖店 in chinatown loh！
my current fave mask is selling there too!
although is slightly more expensive than TPE,
however i can mix & match my own box.
being done with Chinatown, we took NEL down Serangoon!
nearly wanted to stop at Farrer Park for Saizeriya,
City Square is not as tempting as Nex i guess?
we settled our dinner at a small fast food place - TORIGO!
its all fried & bbq chicken. western style.
we ordered this honey bbq combo to share for $12.80

im not really sure if its consider exp though,
but the chicken is real tasty!
ermm im referring to the skin & thigh plus wing.

the soup is really thick & concentrated.
i find it taste sweet instead of the usual MSGs.
love that its got onion inside!

we completed the whole NEX shopping within 3hrs?
didnt really shop, its just walking & browsing la.
i was so full from the dinner that i din get anymore finger food.
no dessert either, its time for me to go on slight diet. ;x
call it a day as we're both tired.

thats us while waiting for train at Serangoon.
we took the Circle Line this time round.

and alighted at Bishan before taking the North line back home.
it seems pretty near for me like just 3stops away!

lastly, having bid goodbye to my ex-company,
i can now happily have any hairstyle i like already!
even long fringe & colored hair!
we shall see how my hair turns out in half a year's time!

so im officially jobless right now!

so i've returned every single ex-company items back,
my spacious bedroom is finally back!
i clear a part of my room everyday & slept more than 10hrs?
but that is under the effect of medications.
been taking cough syrup & flu pills for the whole last wk.
am slightly better now & went down for an "interview" this aftn.
shall not go into details with the "interview" first.
somemore rounds coming up next to be notified.
anyway, i shouldnt drift off from my main topic today!
i took photos of most of the gifts i received for Xmas'10!
guess what my senior told me?!
she say im the one with the most gift last year!
even our boss also agree with her! *blush*
oh well, such thing doesnt happen that often lah..

all e gift i received after my Xmas AL..
stuffed right inside my small tiny mailbox in office.

our LI CR came to my NRT room just to pass me this!
and we ended up chit chatting till i hopped over for 2nd round!

she's like 1 of the nicest senior i've flew with so far!

then this box of hokkaido snack from TAY JE!
we got a temporary 1month team flight back in MAY/JUN.
did 3 pattern together and built our bond during the period.

my newly made friend QUEK JO wrote a card for me!
with the self stamped VERONICA on the envelope, i appreciate!
she even got me my fave KAPI(-kia)!!!

not to mention the girl i abandon after i left, LIN JI!
she wrote her heart-felt words on our in-flight postcard! ;(

even thought she nv slot it into the mailbox,
she passed it to me the very last time at Marroad hotel.
just before i left hotel for my last sector back to Singapore.

afew more other gift which i forgot to take photos..
i really appreciate every single card/note/gift & everything!
the few best things that i've got from this company are :
- lesson learnt in leaving my nails long (like finally!!!)
- knowing people from almost all walk of life
- the ability to see a slightly bigger world other than SEA.
- of course, making new friends who are willing to stay on in my life.

HKG 4x Part1.2

so we arrived @ e hotel,
but was told that our rm wasnt ready yet..
we went out nearby hunting 4 food..
CX's meal was too small a portion 2 keep us going..

stop by the KFC nearby which is like 5mins walk away..
starving us decided 2 jux satisfy ourselves with it..
& y does e ppl talk so loud in an enclosed area?
like every1 is competing with each other..
thats where i realised head can uds canto v well!
she even uds wat e KFC staff was talkin in canto lohx..

walked bac hotel & ended up MORE waiting.. ;(
its stil not ready.. hence we planned our rest of e day..
decided 2 jux comb e area arnd our hotel since its not early..

our 1st location is e CTMA building..
where lots & lots of toys are available!
& we got ourselves e 1st item frm hkg!
mine was a doraemon fan (its not workin at all! damn!)
and head's was 2 littlegreenman stickers!
2 of us jux took our own swt time walkin & walkin..
i guess it was only arnd 7+pm when we rtn bac 2 hotel..

set off again at 9+pm 4 our late dinner..
and in our supper outfit - I♥HK tee!
combed part of the ladies st & bght some tees..
only managed 2 lights out at nearly midnite..
