Missing...

ytd was choosing photos for doing childhood montage.
had a hard time selecting which to show during the wedding dinner.
if you dont see your face in the montage, it doesnt mean you are not special to me.
but rather i choose those which hold special memories instead.
we used to hope to grow up faster when we are young,
yet now that im alr 26 im missing for my childhood days. those were the real simple is happiness days.
browse through photos taken during my 2.5yrs of flying life.
its true that "when given the opportunity, grab it."
i did not regret flying for that short period.
im thankful i made real friends from it.
now thinking back, im kinda regretful i did not visit more places.

and for the first time, tried macaroons from Laduree!
sweet sweet times, this is 1 of my fave shot with Raju.
alr forgot how we suddenly click and went prawning follow by kapi sessions.

i remember she said i look snobbish in the lift heading up to the interview.
2 of us together with Kristine and Dorothy were in the same final interview.
and all 4 of us were picked to join the batch!
our friendship only picked up from Tokyo Training onwards.
i slept over in her room as her room is the outermost with a vacant room beside.
her family mailed her mooncakes and she shared with all of us!
me someone who doesnt eat mooncake even force a small mouthful down.

its Wed which means 2Ds to FRI!!
cant wait for the weekend to come so i can have ample rest.
no idea why i've been feeling lethargic lately.
have made appt to go down dye my hair on SAT!
color i have not decided yet, shall c the color samples by then.
and FRI night got movie date with the bf, THE DARK KNIGHT!
is that a continuation of the 1st movie??
thought of DIY-ing a floral wreathe for photoshoot,
but dont know where to start from. also not enough time liao?
went to trim my hair yesterday and the lady also told me e same stuff.
"dont be psycho by the people into getting more pose.
honestly, 17yrs into marriage i only browse through my album once.
and that was on the wedding night after the banquet."
sounds true? been more than 3 people telling me this..
i shall stay firm on my decision, 33 poses so be it!

Mon after work i met some of my ex-colleagues 4 dinner!
yurie-chan got sg flt so that day was her full free day in sg.
Mabelle met them early & bring them around SG for tour & food-sampling.
thats me & yurie-chan over here. :)

that day i passed Mabelle & Raju their bridesmaid dress.
here's the 3 of us coincidentally in polka dots!

ytd met Raju for lunch and damn we made the right choice!
paid Canele a visit since DBS Indulge app showed me the current promo -
$15 for 2 course meal, UP $19 siol!
you can choose either Starter or Dessert with Main course.
comes with free drink as well!
thats us with our starter - cream of mushroom 4 me;
signature caesar salad for raju & its damn nice i swear!!

since both of were craving for some sweet stuff,
we ended up with a box of macaroons each! ;x
she bought a box and shared w Cafren/Joy after meeting me.
for mine, was left in office to cure my sweet tooth.

Happy Birthday to both my parents yesterday!
hardly can find a partner with same birthday whom you'll spend the rest of your life with.
hope many many more birthdays to come for my parents!

Hello New Friend!

just last Sat i made a new friend.
have met her previously but never really hang out.
bumped in her at PS and we both exclaimed, "joey's friend?"
and we saw each other again e flea which i had with joey.
finally last Sat i decided to go ahead & meet Joey + her together!
met joey earlier for lunch & shortly after she joined us.
let me introduce, siqi!!
i shared a cuppa taimei w joey & then started shopping.
managed to find retro earrings for my jiemeis too!
came home with 2 new tops and im happy liao!
while they continue shopping, i ended earlier to meet the bf.

surprisingly, we clicked.
and before i know it, we're in the midst of planning...

then follow Sun i had Victor's Kitchen with my family!
its to celebrate my parents' bdae in advance since it falls on Tue.

i finally had the courage to finish 1 whole liu sha bao myself!
but, i'd much prefer those with thicker salted egg yolk taste.
this got a mild taste of custard which i still dont like.
my mom suggested going yum cha once every month! woohoo~
after lunch, we went over to OG find bedsheets.
got 1 that have 2 diff sets of color for pillow/bolster case.
and the quilt set is reversible with 2 colors too!
settled for red & black since wedding die die mux have red.
black also looks very 前卫 mah.. right?
since we're there, we bought face & bath towels too.
as for bedside lamp & tea set, im gonna get it during the Malacca trip.
got a friend informed, its sellin much cheaper over there!

2nite am meeting Mabelle & 1 of my ex-jal jap colleague.
cant wait cant wait! & the bf is joining us too! yay!

十月好忙哦！

一开始就有好多生日庆祝，
工作上也更新了很多新程序要学。
再加上有很多会议要参与。
现在谁都不能说我在办公室里是空闲的啦！
那天我们帮raju庆生!
好开心哦，因为已经好久都没见到大家聚在一起了！
当然她们都还在飞啦，只有我已经转行了。
这些是我们六个人吃的分量，不是很多吧？
那个truffle fries真是没话讲，好吃到。。！！！
不过价钱方面我个人是觉得有点贵，不过又不是时常吃所以还好。
看大家一起和的和照！
真是没后悔买这些新的胶卷啊！
好可爱，颜色又不一样！
然后我收到一份迟来的礼物！

她真实太了解我了。
还有，祝福我同事生日快乐！

Not Again!

its the weekend once more..
when every1 else is so happy to have weekends,
im actually feeling different.
weekday or weekends, to me both seems e same.
thats the best thing about being unemployed.
right now i've already turned down 3 job offeres.
the 4th will be turned down next week.
although they're willing to pay me a salary of $2.2k,
but the amount of AL is only 7Ds per year!
not to mention no dental, even medical is only $100+!
nuff said, i shall wait for government job..
at the same time, if a better job offer comes by...

Mon was spent meetin Mabelle @ Bugis.
had lunch & walked around aimlessly b4 bidding farewell.

Tue i met Cine after 2 interviews.
decided to invest in some formal clothes,
we walked around Orchard shopping!
the last time i spend $$ on clothes was 2mths ago!
wait 4 xiang & lisa 2 off work b4 we took a train home.

Wed i met Raju at town again!
paid a visit to Kinokuniya to browse books.
saw this whole range of shopaholics storybooks, my fave!
i even read out horoscope from books to Raju..

Raju bought playdough from Kinokuniya!
so funny to knead icecream & burgers outside the Chanel store.
security guard even shoo us off!

Wed i received an sms from Singtel about winning tickets!
as stated in the sms, its 12noon on 4th Mar.
who knows, that was a wrong date & time!
poor me & zhen made a wasted trip down Powerhouse. -.-"
again we went down to town where i bought new clothes!
luckily zhen stopped me from buying the pants from Bershka,
because i ended up buying something nicer elsewhere!

while waitin 4 lisa at Orchard MRT..
as we hardly get to meet up that often,
we camwhore a teeny bit..

i made a mistake again!
lisa said she's at e 1st cabin but we wait at e last!
when we finally met her at Newton MRT,
her face was black & fierce.

aft that xiang went home while e 3 of us went 2 lisa's hse.
played with dro & had our dinner together!
even watched the MobTV on Demand for the 9pm drama!
since its only the 3 of us aft dro fell aslp,
we gossip abit here & there..
listening 2 lisa relate 2 us about her pregnancy story,
i really admire her 4 being so brave!
alright, about time i go take a nap already..

Had much fun -

this KUL pattern is so fun-filled that im so exhausted!
reported for my morning flt & had 2 do gly as expected.
but what i didnt expect was the 62SPML! -.-
what a way to begin my flt pattern!
anyway, was fortunate to have So-san to help me out!

the amount of SPML over at my compartment.
the other half was in another compartment which So-san did.
made friend with 1 of e jap crew & exchanged no.!
now we're whatsapp-ing each other like how cool is that?
distance drawn closer by technology!

then i checked in hotel to received 3 notes!
can remember this is 1 of e most notes i received so far..
my TAN LL is always so nice & sweet to me!

on my laptop & signed in MSN to see....
so many offline messages?!

then i went out myself & bump into HuiMin + Jessie.
they accompany me to run my errands while waiting for Jill.
after Jill came, we had our dinner @ foodcourt..
thats when we exchanged some funny incidents on board.
since it'll be the last time i see Jill at NRT,
hence we went 4 some neoprint sessions!




took several since its only 400yen each!
only $3+ each of us lohx..
hopped on the last bus & rush back hotel.
did my xmas gift packing while waiting for Jill.
our last bunk-in at Marroad. ;s

the next day i reported for my KL flt with Yixian.
did c-cbn with only 6 jap & e rest all english speakers!
touched down KL hotel rather tired.
but still we bathed & went out 4 our dinner together.
something i gonna miss KUL is -

the 油菜 over at the foodcourt!
only selling at RM$3.90 for this amount..

then is my KFC cheesy wedges..
sg have cheesy fries but not wedges..
1 of my all time fave there..

not forgetting my KFC chix!

after our dinner, we went 2 have a drink..

hardly a chance i take photo with Yixian..

but we drink Carlsberg which makes me feel so old?

she showed me e Anterprima bag she bought..
tempt me into buying it too! 1200yen!

e next day we slept through until 9+ report for work.
touched down NRT and its another rush hour!

went to find my dearest Raju!
we're gonna fly back to SIN together man!

e cold weather turns our skin so dry..
making me feels old looking at our skin lohx..
took train all the way down to Ginza!

our 1st stop is the Lotteria..
settle our hungry stomach!

follow by walking around looking for Matsuya Mall..
thats where i hafta find my authentic french rusk!!!
was shocked to see a long Q along the counter..
all the way we Q until outside! ;O
lets say 20-25mins queue-ing time, we came out with...

this amount of rusk!
the small vs the big bag..
i lug it everywhere we go after that.


Raju treats me to dessert at this atas place!

every table comes with 3 stalk of fresh rose..
dipped into a glass of water..
couldnt resist not taking photo with it..

look that the rose are so well evenly bloomed!
would be lovely to have 1 stalk everyday!
just kidding, everyday is too much..
but once in a blue moon works fine too! ;p

here's my Rose & Raspberry Pie/Strudel..
its really special with e rose flavour fresh cream.
not at all thick or over whelming.

that's Raju's Chocolate flavoured pie/strudel.
its normal i think since its chocolate.
but the fresh cream is so light that i dont feel fattening.

we snapped a polariod shot each with the rose..


kapi spotted @ Ueno arcades!
but i couldnt get my grandpa kapi..

nor the lama at the other machine..
decided thats it & stopped trying anymore..
instead we went to take neoprints!

Raju did alil' shopping, grab a small bite & we head back..
the train ride back was a torturous good 2hrs! -.-

we started off with snapping some photos..

more ppl board the train hence we stopped..
and thats when both of us fell asleep..

reached hotel stil must pack our luggage! ughhh~

e bagful of french rusk all ended inside my coatbag..
firm & solid which i carry onboard..
i cannot imagine how it'll be if i check-in..

even soft drinks also got xmas edition.. so cute!

i concussed after putting mask on my face..
vividly i remember i woke up to talk to Raju for awhile.
she told me something about the fridge electric cut off,
then her milk turns bad so she cant drink it.
and i even tell her i nv wash my face after putting mask,
but my face feels soft to the touch man!
and then on & off i woke up, doze off woke up doze off..

thats us while on the airport limousine to Haneda
rusk for "supper" before our flt!

we each had 3 items to carry back! ;(

the best way to kill boredom is to take photos!

and lots of it! ;D
