HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE~!  haven got time to set resolution for 2013 yet even though i know im not gonna keep to them. but still, its like an aim for myself for this year right?!  while on the way to work ytd, i got these thoughts that flash through my mind.. am hoping i can fulfill them this year though.
1. spend LESS money & save MORE 2. spend a WHITE christmas 3. countdown NYE at a foreign country. 4. adapt a positive mind & lessen negative thoughts 5. judge less; gossip less; complain less (LOL!) 6. explore new countries 7. take up a NEW hobby and or exercise/ activity 8. strike a balance for work; family; friends.   lets see if im able to accomplish any of these..  

on the 1st day of 2013, hub satisfied my cravings!
finally had my hui lau shan fulfilled!
ohmygod i really wanted to sit down & eat ALL their mango desserts.
but of cux, he wouldnt have let me do that. lol.
still happy max to takeaway 2 of their specialties. 

ytd very impromptu we decided to meet 4 lunch!

however victor's wasnt open! ;(

walked over to dhoby ghaut parklane for simple lunch.

suddenly i dont regret cutting bangs again.

because polka dots should comes in a set!

hahahah~ i actually convinced myself to buy them all..

bag, sanitary pad holder (holds 3 pads) & tissue casing (holds 2 pack)

all these that cost less than $20 in total!

like ohmygod its cheap beyond words right?

then ytd came in office and saw 2 goodie bags on my desk.

opened it when i reached home & saw this polka dots casing!

im guessing its a sun glass case except its not hard casing.

anyway~ i shall head off & list down the high & lows of 2012.

BKK to & fro

so for the past few days, i went BKK for holidays.  its just a short 4D3N trip with the shorties couple.  however just before the trip, something unhappy happened.  which sort of dampen the mood. =\  i wasnt aware of the seriousness until we came back.  apparently no thanks to his busy-ness, which cldnt elaborate further.  what was done, was done already. yes of cux i know.  but what are friends for?  just because u r busy and u cldnt elaborate further.  yet aft boarding the cab & u told us abt the donts'..  isnt that too late to tell us?!  yes and u didnt know the house owner rang up the police.  police checked & rang up his house to find the car owner.  now, do u feel a teeny weeny bit of guilty?  do i hear a no? fine, we've got nothing more to say honestly.  if this is the furthest u can go to help a friend.   

1 of my fave to do thing when on airplane. its almost a MUST to snap photo of the ever-changing clouds.

we bought mabelle's love along with us!  onboard airplane we were munching on these popcorns.  damn nice i gotta say!    aft arriving at the airport, we wasted close to an hour.  the taxi queue was horribly long!  not forgetting the journey from airport to hotel.  from daylight to night fall i tell u!  reached, we checked in & unpack alittle b4 heading out 4 dinner.  decided to check out our nearby eateries instead.  the first night dinner was the most expensive during the trip.  spent more than 1k thai baht for it even though there's wi-fi.  walked around aimlessly and yay we managed to do something to our nails. we girls were doing gel-ish while e guys did their pedi. quite cheap for us though, only cost us 900 baht.

this is the design i did for my nails.  in the mood for more polka dots right!! :D   the next few days shopping was the regular huntout. except during the 2nd night aft we went Chatuchak, we head down to Rod Fai mkt. that was really a no-regret decision! e  guys managed to find quite a number of bargain buys. like eg. Evisu, basketball jerseys, superdry & japanese brands! all authentic stuff & brand new sumore! 2nd day alone we combed half of Platinum Mall & Chatuchak; aft dinner we combed almost the whole of Rod Fai mkt.  head back hotel & aft some wash-up we went out 4 massage! so tiring that we dozed off during that 1 hour massage. only cost us 300 baht! like seriously, the things in bkk is way way cheaper than sg. almost doesnt have to consider at all. aft massage comes our daily highlight of the day. buying snacks & food from 7-11 back to hotel for supper! their 7-11 really is a wonder. they have sausage buns, sausages, rice/ noodle bento! even CP scrimp wanton soup also have! hafta admit its cheap & good!

 called it a day & went back wash up prepare for bed. next day morning we had 1 of the delicious soupy noodle opp. hotel.

really love their glass noodle! and its really a wonderful combi tbh. 3rd day was 2nd half of Platinum Mall follow by random malls. Angela managed to buy her Starbucks gift card & mugs. while we got a tumbler for his young sponsored girl. their random malls also got bargain finds! he bght a pair of boat shoes at 410baht aft slashing 40bahts off. even pair up with another couple singaporean too! e oth couple bf bght a pair as well. hub wore it yesterday & he say its actually quite comfy! and final day was plainly checking out MBK for food; and did some light shopping around Siam Discovery. where i got quite a no. of naraya products. ;x mainly tissue holder for friends.

while at the ulu airport, guess what we saw!! its Krispy Kreme!!! was contemplating to buy a box back on the 3rd night, luckily i didnt & we are so heng! chanced upon this & each couple bght a dozen home. 

aft complaining numerous times about his carpet,  we bght new ones from bkk too! could have been like $4each but we paid $5.5.

then while at the supermarket, i saw Haribo gummy!!!  how can i say NO to this like seriously?! its 70cents cheaper/ pack hor!  i bght 10 packs home so its $7 cheaper liao. ;x

then this is all my shopping loots.  no joke, i didnt shop much cux e clothes are mostly e same. shoes like melissa jellies everywhere! skater dress; bralets, cropped top, tees mostly sg also have. all in all my most satisfied buy is definitely e naraya laptop bag. now i can carry my laptop everywhere in a bag!

last but not least, my benefit make-up finally arrived!  this time round it took close to 1month sia! was so scare the whole parcel got lost in transit loh.

我们一个月咯！

time pass by so fast!  its been 1 month already!!  of cux i hope we'll have many more months ahead..
of unlimited happiness altogether. :)
early in the morning we set off from home to...
GARDENS BY THE BAY!!
its my first visit, and of cux first time taking photos with the backdrop.
sounds abit suaku, but i know im definitely not the last! ;p his new company planned a Family Day and engaged the employees.
and employees are welcomed to bring their family along.
yippie! thats how we gain free entrance in. ^^

but the very tam jiak us, bought vouchers from groupons.  and decided to utilize on our special day. so instead of wasting the tix to tour around the garden, we, or shld i say i decided to visit the garden on another day. and he joined in the tele-match game, after which we went off liao. had our lunch settled at Senki, yet again! me & my fave momo salad! only had 2 this time round cause i was too full already. the plan in the later part of the day was even more exciting. his friend booked a room at MBS and invited us along. I CAN FINALLY SAY I VISITED SKYPARK! the view is seriously breathe-taking! everybody, i mean all locals should really pay it a visit. go at night, the scenary is really simply amazing. i honestly wouldnt mind staying at the hotel 365 days. IF ITS FREE. ;x

thanks to his friend for helping us take photos that night. and not forgetting our dinner after that. hearing his friend talk abt their sec sch days. those good ol' good ol' days. dont we all miss our sch days v much? :) those were the fret-free days.

LALALAVA BUNNN!

suddenly fell in love with lava bun. ever since the last time i had it with family, i met joey & had it for lunch then since on i've been hooked. desperately wanting for more more more! basically eating lava bun alone for a single meal is ok for me too! just gimme 1 basket, 3 lava buns is enough loh!

i shall refrain from over-tempting u readers.

look at him licking the lava from the little bursting hole. couldnt endure not snapping it down to tease him about him. finally there's some food that he say is good. which means the lava bun is really good liao! he's a picky eater. either this not gd or that not gd. but for me, i cant tell the difference. so everything to me, as long as i like the taste, its good. if i dont like, i think its pretty hard for me to try it again. ;x

met raju on 23rd 2gether w e bf & went gown fitting.
was suppose 2 do e fitting for e photoshoot on 26th mah.
shall not show what gown i wear for photoshoot here. ;p

only cost 80ringgit IF without e ribbon & 100 including 2 ribbons.

then to prepare ourselves for photoshoot/ big day,
he also started "investing" in some supplements!

this is how i look like after my MUA temp curl my hair.
suddenly make me love my hair so much, look so volume.
overall, i guess both of us did enjoy ourselves during the photoshoot.
although we sweat like hell throughout, but its all worth it!
seeing how much effort my photographer puts in, i really dont regret.
and with my MUA following us around, i get to change 3 different hairdo!
she even helped me with the touch-ups and everything.
plus the helper who helped me with e dresses & lugging of luggage around.
most importantly, lisa & alec who went all e way down help me collected balloons.
they travelled from AMK down to Parkway Parade and then to my 3rd location.
all in all, really blessed to have their help. :)

hahaha~ my BS coordinator say we're e most energetic couple ever.
usually after photoshoot, others will be so tired.
but we're still jumping around in the shop. lol!
i even requested to have individual shot taken with each of them.
wanna keep as memorial keepsake mah.

then shortly after photoshoot, we celebrated our 3rd!
woots its finally entering the final countdown 3mths liao!
had our celebration at Senki Jap Restuarant.
my 1st jap buffet ever & man was it good!
thought e sashimi wasnt as fresh as Sun w Moon, but overall its still ok.
e chef preparing sashimi infront of us treated us complimentary!
e salmon sushi & yellowtail sushi simply melts in ur mouth!
i swear, its 1 of the top top best sushi i've tried so far.
there's also e neverending momo salad.
lol! amused by myself for ordering 7 plates of momo salads!!
literally stuff ourselves full beyond belief.

2 days ltr, im all packed & set 4 a short getaway.
that fateful morning, my laptop refused to startup.
went from panic to heart attack within an hours' time & thank god,
everything is fine & stable already. *phew

welcome to Melaka!
hahaha~ bght back some wedding stuff & pineapple tarts.
among these, i got myself 2 polka dots top too!
my best & fave buy of all! ;x
ate too much on 1st day & constipated leading to bloated-ness.
after i came back to SG, stomach had a hard time adjusting back.
vomited thrice in all, but luckily everything resume e 3rd day round.

few days later, cele bf's bdae with the cliques at Timbre!
its the boys' 1st time there though!
had a shock when i got e bill, really dont rmb it cost that much?
left b4 e live band started & rot our ass at TCC nearby.
played a silly game on angela's ipad.
and we demo-ed how well we play e Diamond Dash infront of them.
so funny la! that aigege talk so much but fingers not moving. ;x

e next day both our family went down for Food Tasting.
really hope e food wil taste as good on e actual day too.
Chinatown w sis & mum aft Food Tasting to find mum's dress/shoes.
finally done with mum's set of attire, left dad's to go.
even MUA also sourced & confirmed.

thx to my cousin, my family have got free kiwis!
bcux it was alil' sour, my mom suggested added sugar to go with it!
turns out, e sugar managed to lower down e sour-ness!

nx day, attended baby lucas's 1st mth!
fortunate him will be showered with lotsa love!
head home and bf fetch me from amk to his place.
before we're able to rest much, hafta head over to tampines.
thanks 2 his cousin who intro this client to him,
hopefully the deal can b completed without much trouble.
finished e viewing, angela & aigege was already waiting.
drove over to ECP for normal hawker food b4 chillax at nearby Mac.
as i didnt had much dinner, i requested to have e much craved ba chor meeeee~

cant wait for the weekend to come so i can have ample rest.
no idea why i've been feeling lethargic lately.

and FRI night got movie date with the bf, THE DARK KNIGHT!

went to trim my hair yesterday and the lady also told me e same stuff.

yurie-chan got sg flt so that day was her full free day in sg.
Mabelle met them early & bring them around SG for tour & food-sampling.

that day i passed Mabelle & Raju their bridesmaid dress.

since both of were craving for some sweet stuff,

she bought a box and shared w Cafren/Joy after meeting me.
for mine, was left in office to cure my sweet tooth.

Happy Birthday to both my parents yesterday!
hardly can find a partner with same birthday whom you'll spend the rest of your life with.
hope many many more birthdays to come for my parents!

Hello New Friend!

just last Sat i made a new friend.
have met her previously but never really hang out.
bumped in her at PS and we both exclaimed, "joey's friend?"
and we saw each other again e flea which i had with joey.
finally last Sat i decided to go ahead & meet Joey + her together!
met joey earlier for lunch & shortly after she joined us.
let me introduce, siqi!!
i shared a cuppa taimei w joey & then started shopping.
managed to find retro earrings for my jiemeis too!
came home with 2 new tops and im happy liao!
while they continue shopping, i ended earlier to meet the bf.

got 1 that have 2 diff sets of color for pillow/bolster case.
and the quilt set is reversible with 2 colors too!
settled for red & black since wedding die die mux have red.

since we're there, we bought face & bath towels too.
as for bedside lamp & tea set, im gonna get it during the Malacca trip.
got a friend informed, its sellin much cheaper over there!

新年就快过了。。。

last Fri i went for an "overnight" mahjong session!
and man was it 1 of the best i've played so far!
reason being i was 自摸-ing & 胡-ing for several times!
and i emerge as the overall winner - 1 against the other 3 worx!
duno if its plainly my luck or bcux i increased it by heeding the fortune teller's advice!
was told that white is good 4 me & metal items wil bring me luckiness.
after setting the self-timer, i was busy looking for the 发 tile!
end up it snapped before i can find 1.
e 1st rnd that i win big!
collected $39 as a total!
this is the rnd that determined the winner!
collected $69 from all of them leh!!

then i realized the 2 photos of mahjong tiles shows all 4 creatures!
2 creatures in each photo hor? hahaha so qiao!

and chu er i went over his friend's hse 4 blackjack session.
managed to help him win some $$ as well.
currently my fave shot of all!

whereas this year, i ate everything else cept salmon. ;x

the week b4, i visit the resident blk above Clementi Mall.
the highest level was at 40th!
can oversee even the West Coast area leh!
honestly, these residents r damn fortunate lah!

11.11.11 was a 50/50 day.
i bade farewell to my 2nd auntie.
was really sad when i think of her.
im sure she must be really heartbroken already.
and 1 of my closest friend gave birth to her 1st bb!
after crematorium, i visit her at TMC.
hardly ever carry any newborn, was a 1st such experience 4 me.
