on a *public holiday ...

this was yet another short week thanks 2 labor day!
and suddenly 2dae is a PH so we got another leave in lieu!
nothing much happened these 2weeks so not much pix..
Mon i went to try the Salted Caramel ice cream along Thomson Rd.
Tue & Wed i had a G.E-related lunch with colleagues.
Wed mark the arrival of golden pears free 4 us!
Thur was lunch full of jokes & watched my 1st rally!
Fri was lunch treat from xiang w/ QC + lisa w/ Alec.
unbelievable is i start my Fri quarrelling on e phone w/ lisa.
a gd 3hrs of phone convo with e 2 girls,
follow by meeting them & hubbies 4 lunch @ The Canteen.
its 1st visit for all of us & its enjoyable.
come 2dae we hafta do the compulsory voting for the G.E
2nite will be watching Jolin Tsai's concert.
mixed feeling though -
im sure e concert will be an eye-opener for me,
but at e same time i want to know imm. who won whichever GRC/SMC.
ordered the salted caramel + cookies' n creme flavour.
its special to have a salty taste ice cream.
when we arrived, some of e flavours alr seems 2b oos.
or was it because they havent replenish?
then these 2 r e golden pear i received.
big enough as compared aganist my skittles bottle.

cant help, u need to work in a comfortable environment.
so i need 2c things which can make me relax.
e night at e rally was a total WOW!
never in my life have i see SO MANY ppl gather!
this thing over here attracted everyone's attention!
short-sighted person like me cfm cannot see the speakers.
i can only see flags & hands waving in the air,
not to mention the speaker, even the stage i nearly couldnt spot.
our dinner aft lunch @ Upp. Serangoon Rd.
luckily we had ice cream & muah chee while listening.
i never know muah chee can taste so nice! HAHAH!
we had porridge & some dishes all came up to arnd $10/head.
spotted this poster directly opp. where we're sitting.
e whichever party's poster was above this.
honestly i got selective vision as mentioned by my colleague.
i didnt see the other party's poster.
i came home feeling like a happy 3yrs old kid.
joel accompanied me in search of the stall to buy collectibles.
couldnt find it & the crowd is too much to wander around.
so i asked 1 of the uncles holding on to 2flags,
but was told that all the collectibles r all sold out alr.
just when i was feeling a tinge of disappointment,
the man standing behind the uncle stretch out his flag & gave me.
i was surprised. really caught in surprise.
so it seems that his wife got another flag so he gave 1 to me.
even though i have no idea how much it cost,
but the meaning behind such gesture certainly says alot.
TYVM and i'll keep it safe till the next big G.E arrives.

there's 8 chix wings; cheesy fries; curry chix rice; fish n chips;
ham&mushroom alfredo; teriyaki burger & beef burger!
not too costly considering its along Orchard.
the whole bill came to arnd $80 but its FOC!
